Eco-innovation

Environmental sustainability is an increasingly central parameter in product and process innovation. We help our customers devise a green strategy and new business models based on the circular economy, product and process eco-design, adoption of recyclability models, and efficient use of resources, with a particular focus on technlogies abilitating the green transition.

What we do

We have developed a method for improving environmental sustainability structured over four steps.

  1. Eco-strategy: definition of the eco-innovation strategy and the applicable business model; analysis of the product / process life cycle as a function of environmental parameters and production technologies, identification of priority interventions and implementation roadmaps; coordination of activities to achieve the strategic objectives initially defined.
  2. From waste to value: starting from the analysis of production waste (pre-consumption) or end-of-life products (post-consumption), we design a new circular business model aimed at giving value to wastes; we identify the technologies necessary for the processing of the raw material, we select the most suitable technological or commercial partners to implement the new prototype and subsequent market development.
  3. Adaptation to environmental standards: we support companies in the path to adapt to the requirements of sustainability protocols, protecting the needs of effectiveness and efficiency of production processes. Our approach provides that, starting from the analysis of products/processes and the supply chain, we arrive at designing, simulating and validating new business processes (technologies, management procedures, information tools) in compliance with external standards in accordance with the objectives of company business.

Results

  • Lower environmental impact of products or processes.
  • Launch of eco-compatible products based on the principles of circular economy
  • Communication of environmental performance and adaptation to industry standards
  • Ability to access tenders, supplies, concessional financing, financing, etc. which require an objective assessment of environmental parameters
  • Increase in the company's economic performance thanks to the introduction of new and more profitable business models.
