Software selection

We act by solving problems linked to the evolution of the company's current IT infrastructure (or the introduction of new digital systems) in order to choose the digital system and the technology partner which are most appropriate for the company's needs.
We have significant consolidated knowledge of business processes and familiarity with the information systems market, which allows us to identify the most appropriate solution to the customer's needs on each occasion, with an impartial approach.

What we do

Our involvement starts with the analysis of the current corporate information architecture, followed by the definition of the functional objectives that the new software will have to meet and the critical success factors (CSFs) of the new solution. This means we can map out the aspects needed to create the technical specifications or an RFP (Request for Proposal) in line with the business objectives.

We then proceed with the following activities:

• definition of the constraints and the assessment criteria for the solutions found;
  
• market analysis and sourcing of potential partners (system integrators) to implement the system;
  
• receipt and assessment of the proposals submitted by participating suppliers;
  
• Q&A sessions to examine the matter more closely or meetings including demonstrations of the solution or customised PoCs;
  
• Support when choosing the system, reaching contractual arrangements, and defining the timing.
  

Results

• Usually, a proper software selection process significantly reduces the overall cost of the service while maintaining the same scope. In many cases, this reduction is enough to offset the cost of the software selection process.
• Needs expressed are met more closely and the solution found is more effective.
• Lower risk of changing/replacing the solution in the short-to-medium term.
• Identification of the technical solution available on the market most suited to the client's needs.
