Need
This company from the Verona area, which has been operating in the automation market since 1978, specialises in the design and construction of automation, control, supervision, and Manufacturing Execution Systems. The company set out a need to verify that its products meet the technical requirements for eligibility for the European "Industry 4.0" plan.
Solution
WIL's involvement primarily concerned the collection of technical and design data relating to the products under examination. The data collected was analysed to determine the technical, technological, and operating specifications of the capital goods and to objectively assess a product's compliance with the Industry 4.0 specifications.
The analysis led to the preparation of a Technical Report to explain the specifications of the product in question, based on legislative provisions. The Technical Report was accompanied by a Declaration of Conformity of the products, in accordance with the provisions of the Industry 4.0 plan and the related concessions that can be applied for.
Benefits
- Formal Industry 4.0 compliance.
- Creation of a new product sales lever.
